365 DOODLES in 2026
Five years ago today I’ve started a project, and it changed my life. I made a painting every day in 2021, and you guys started to buy them within three months, Wacom asked me to be their ambassador, I made a music video for the world’s biggest techno parade, Berlin’s Rave The Planet. I had my debut solo exhibition. Made a huge 2 x 7 meters public mural for Hegyvidék, Budapest. So yeah, the animals took control.
. I’ve decided to make the 365 days drawing challenge again, this time the pictures will be public, they will be posted here on the Simon Iddol profiles on Instagram and Facebook. Let’s see what happens.
This new series is a five years tribute, but also an experiment. I’ve changed few important rules, so let’s see how the 365 DOODLES series will work in 2026.
THE BASICS
— this time the paintings are public
— I will post a new painting everyday at the same time: 19:00 CET (8:00 GMT, 13:00 EST, 10:00 PT, 03:00 JST)
— these are new paintings, nothing is being used from the 2021 series
— each painting has a secret message, and it’s not the title
— the themes are sometimes random, sometimes connecting to the date
— the characters are the same, but there are new ones in 2026
— they are EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS, they are here to heal and guide us
THE SYMBOLISM OF THE ANIMALS
— the BUNNIES and the CATS are philosophical, they stare into the future or past and they come up with weird conclusions
— the DOGS are angry, frustrated and most of the times wild
— the TEDDYBEARS are positive, they always has this unreasonably optimistic attitude
— GOD and his TRANSPARENT DOG are on a next level
— the PIGS are simple and fun, they have this brilliant punkish down to Earth vibe
— the FISH always have something important to say
